The valve which shuts off the hot water flow when I select 'cold' on the heater control has failed for the second time in a year. Anyone had a similar problem? On investigation, I found that the motor is running all the time, even though the time it takes to open or close the valve is a few seconds. Is this a fault, or is it meant to be like that?
