Can someone advise me which fuse to check ,for both dipped lights on a 51
    zafira.
Main beam works, and side lights work
I cant believe both bulbs would go at the same time.
I know they are both individually fused, though need to know the "feeding"
fuse for them.I dont really want to pull the radio fuse by mistake incase I
    cannt find the recode

    cheers
    Pete

Oh shit, went through this on this group last year on our x reg zaf. lights
didnt work, but bulbs ok. checked fuses,
relays, even wiring. followed loom through the bulkhead to check for
chafing. all drew a blank. Then as I was staring at the engine
compartment I had one of those penny dropping 'oh shit...' moments as I
realised the bulbs I was checking were in fact the (inboard) main beam
bulbs, not the (outboard) dip bulbs. Its the wifes car, and she rarely drove
it at night and probably didnt even notice one bulb gone. the other one
going sometime later was more noticeable.

So, in brief, are you SURE you have checked the dip bulbs?

    Many thanks Guys,
I feel I must apologise for being a dufuss!!
Yes it was both bulbs had gone, though may I sort of lighten my embarassment
by saying that it is usually the wife driving the vehicle, and perhaps she
didnt notice the first one out in the first place..ahem...

    cheers guys

That is a common problem. We often get people complaining of complete
brake light failure when it is just both bulbs.

I was taught to check my bulbs regularly but most people think that is
what the MOT is there for!
