I have a 2006 (new shape) Zaffy 1.6 Life (petrol) that whistles at about 3000RPM, it is more noticeable when changing gear and 'reapplying' the throttle. I read a thread on this a few months ago but cannot find the answer to my question on Google Groups. I have taken mine to the dealer twice now where it stays all day and they say they cannot find anything that is causing it, although they can hear it!. I have mentioned this group and that it seems to be the throttle body and breather pipe that is at fault but the dealer says Vauxhall will not "authorise warranty work on internet hearsay!". Has anybody had this problem and had it fixed? I am in Leeds in case there is another dealer who knows about the problem Cheers John P.S. I am getting approx 32MPG in normal motoring, is this similar to other people
