    Hi,

While investigating an knocking sound from the interior of my ('R'
Reg - older shape) Astra, I came across a bunch of wires on the left of the
passenger footwell that terminate with a little connector
(female, about 10-12 'pins') It doesn't seem to have come off anything.
Anyone know what it is? (is it for an ECU(?) diagnostic computer?)

    Cheers,

    Chris.

Don't have my car today. It's in for an MOT...

Do the wire colours make a difference then? Could it be somthing else?

Will check tomorrow and post back in a day or two.

    Thanks for your interest.

    Chris.

PS. Out of curiosity, you always seem to post very knowledgable and helpful
replies to peoples questions. Do you work for Vauxhall, are you a
mechanic/service engineer, or just someone with a deep interest in their
    cars??
