What Engine Type ?

    Hi can anyone tell me what engine type is in a 1996 1.8 16v LS petrol
    Vectra please?

    You log book should tell you, its the first part of the engine number
    something like 'Z18XE'

    If it has a metal " normal" type oil filter it will be an X18XE if it has a
    paper element type oil filter it will be an X18XE1.
