    Hi
I have a mk3 astra and it has a cassette player in it but I want to change
it to a cd player. Will I be able to replace the radio and still have the
    radio display in the dash.
Will I need to get a cd player from another astra?

Also I am looking for a tailgate spoiler (the one that goes along the top of
the rear windscreen). Is there any good spares places anyone can reccomend.

    Thanks in advance

Your Vauxhall dealer will sell you (and fit for free probably) a reasonable
VDO CD441XED unit for £180. You might also get it on ebay. If you can't, I
can supply one for £160 incl P&P.

Alternatively, you could get a new CDR500.

Both will work the remote display with no modifications.

Beware of the CDR500 - you will need to change the display setting from
    10-digit to 8-digit for the Astra F series 3).

    To do this:

Turn on ignition, hold down presets 4 & 6, switch head unit on holding down
the presets.. The display will then show which mode it's in. If you hold
the presets down even longer it will change the display to the other mode.
