VECTRA X18XE1 - Sluggish/Jerky

    Hi,
    I have a 99 1.8i Vectra with the X18XE1 engine.
    Its started to be really sluggish and jerky notably at low speeds. At
    higher speeds it seems to clear for some reason.
    I have cleaned out the AICV and its had new plugs and air filter within
    the last 5k miles.
    Any ideas?

    have you cleared the breather pipes and holes when you did the ICV?

    if so then the mass airflow sensor might be your problem

    what do the fault codes say?have you done the paperclip trick?
