Anyone who insists basic fault code reading comes even close to providing
the analysis a Tech 2 offers, has few opinions worth hearing

 

And your Tech 2 doesn't come anywhere near my Snap-On grafix. And my dad's

No one claimed that code reading is comparitive to data flow reading. Code
reading has its uses, such as confirming a bad sensor.
I have over 30-years experience in engine diagnostics with which to back up
my claim.
Your statements are almost non-sequitur, and are of little help to anyone.
My statement and advices were designed to save people their hard earned
money.

response to my simple assertion that Tech 2 provided better analysis than
Fault Code reading.

I gave good advise on how to retrieve fault codes without having to dip
into ones pocket, to which you lampooned my advice.
Those who result to profanity to try and get their point across are, in my
opinion, suffering from a lack of education in the rudimentary points of the
English language. Children may read this newsgroup, and you either didn't
realise this, or simply don't care.
