    Hi,
I have a problem affecting the drivers window of my Vectra that the
    electric window wont stay up.
When I press the switch to close it, if goes fully closed but then
    comes down again.
Anyone have a fix for this? TIA

Is it lowering completely, or just about an inch? The latter suggests it
needs resetting - see handbook, or just hold "up" button for about 4 seconds
    after window is fully up.

    usually the rocker switch contx.
pop the panel off that holds the driver & passenger windows controls out
and swap the wire from the drivers one to the passenger one [noting where
    they all did go!]
if it works its the switch is duff.
have also know spade terminal crimps to fail before too [crimped on the
    insulation!]
sometimes, by popping out the rocker of the duff switch and giving its
tilting metal plate in botton a good clean and spray with contact cleaner
    [not WD40!!] cures them
    if not spares are available.

if it turns out not to be the switch, time for a bit checking with a meter
to see if its getting what it should be.
i have know a couple of looms to fail [chaffing] where the wires go through
the bulkhead to the door and down the bendy tube.
a cutback & replace with a connector block/old wire to the otherside should
    fix that.

I think it might be finding some resistance near the top, and the
"roll back" function is working. Check the guides are not bunged
up with crap, moss, mould, leaves etc, and also check the guides
have not been deformed in any way.
