Hope someone can shed some light.... Had nothing but probs with the handling on my 2.2. sri. It is a Vectra "B", 2001 on a Y plate. Not sure exactly what Vaux have done under warranty but believe new uni-joint on steering plus various bushes replaced when I took it in and complained. Warranty now expired so using local garage. Now I am being told possibly need new steering rack by local independent garage. Think more likley to be uni-joint again, plus I know I need a couple of new mushes putting on the rear. So, my questions; a) Are steering rack / uni-joint problems a common problem and if so, how should I tackle them? b) Suggestions for (non vauxhall) bushes - i.e. ones that last? and finally, c) If I did have my uni-joint replaced on warranty (about 14 months ago), do I still have warranty cover for the part that has again failed? Hope someone can help! Thanks Mike
