Vectra 1.8 SRi

    A very annoying problem with my 53 vectra sri. When I'm setting off (1st
    gear) from a cold start I get a judder on contact. When the car's warmed up
    it's fine. I've taken it to my local dealers and they can't find anything
    with the advice to put my revs on setting off, but it doesn't resolve the
    problem.
    Any ideas

    Sounds like a clutch judder - have you tried slipping it really hard to burn
    off anything that could be contaminating the face?
