I have a vauxhall vectra R reg. I have had it serviced recently, new
gearbox, new radiator. Now the imobilser light stays on all the time
    and the engine runs rough.

Is there anything I can do? I believe it could be an electrical fault.

Are you sure it is the immobiliser light and not the engine management
light? The car normally will not start if it is the immobiliser light.

You had far more than a service so I would take it straight back to
where it was done and ask them to investigate. It is probably unrelated
but it might be something they did. if it isn't they are likely to be
considerate on the price bearing in mind how much they have already
    taken off you.

    driving it damage anything?

It is unlikely to do any damage but it is telling you that there is a
    problem.

I would get it looked at, preferably by the people who did all the work
    for you.
