vauxhall vectra locking problem

    i have a r reg vectra but the lock does not work from the keyfob does anyone
    know how to fix it

    firstly change the fob battery if you havent yet.
    it is quite common for the fob button to get pushed too hard and break the
    solder joints on the board inside.
    take it to someone that can use an iron & a bit of solder and redo the legs
    joints where they go thru the board.

    a good method to test if the fob is working is to run it from a bench type
    electronic power supply set to 3volts and make sure it draws curent on it's
    mA meter. it wwill take about 10-15mA.
