    Hi,

    Can anyone tell me if you can do a direct swap of a CDR2005 for a CCR2006?

    Yes you can.The old one comes out in seconds (with the right tools) and the
    new one just slides in. Enter the code and you are away.

    I Had this done on my 03 Vectra about four months ago without any problems.

    What made it even less painful was that VX paid for it to be done.
