Vauxhall Cavalier Diesel starting problemI have a strange one

    I have a strange problem with partners car.
    Car is getting on in years... Lately, on trying to start, the car will
    sometimes rev high then stall. If this happens then no matter what I
    try the car will not start again. If I leave it for an hour or so, it
    often will often start fine. I have recently replaced the battery.. It
    has been suggested that perhaps there is an air leek in the fuel line?

    Anyone got any ideas???
