twanging on gas pedal

    hi just purchased a brand new astra converitible, upon setting off on a cold
    engine in 1st gear just after biting point i can feel the gas pedal twang
    and i can also hear it

    is this something to worry about or is it a normal occurnace on vauxhall
    motors?

    also i want to change the cd player to the sony mp3 player i have just
    bought, is this a simple swap?

    Could be just a return spring not located properly or catching on a carpet.

    If not easy to spot/fix, add to the list of warranty niggles.
