Trade plates and SORN

    Does anyone know if a car with a current sorn on it can legally be driven on
    the road with trade plates?

    Yup Trade plates cover all sorts of things :)

    yes ofcourse it can, else there is little or no need for 'trade' plates
    other than moving/testing new (unregistered) cars.

    you would be very very surprised just what you can get away with on trade
    plates.
