reverse lights

    greets to all..i have an astra K reg and my problem is that my reverse
    lights dont work..its not the bulbs ..its not the fuses...i know its a
    relatively simple request but its got me stumped..as you can see i am not
    proficient with cars....thanks if you can help..baz

    Probably the reversing light switch, located on the gearbox.

    Open Bonnet, Look to RIGHT hand side. Look for a connector that's a
    blue colour. Unplug it and look at the wiring connector. Make a
    temporary connection between both pins of the removed connector, I.E.
    wiring side and switch on ignition.
    If you have reverse light's, The switch is Knackerd. 19mm spanner,
    remove switch and replace with new switch. About 9 quid....
