    Hi,

Had the wing mirror kick off my P reg Astra on Saturday night.

Still have the mirror it's self but unsure if i'm going to need a
replacement. I have a long strip of white plastic protruding ont the side of
the car where the mirror should be, which i presume but unother than that
i'm unsure how to try and reconnect the existing mirror or a new mirror.

    Anyone got any pointers.

    Cheers,

    Doug.

Just poke the piece of plastic down the hole in the centre and clip the
mirror body back on - they usually go on ok, just put the clips in and push.

    Did that work?

    It does normally.

If it didn't, I would pop in to your local Vayxhall Dealer and ask
them. They should advise for free. Well, we would anyway!

No it did'nt work. Can get the two forks at the front in the correct
position but the brass coloured metal fitting at the rear does not appear to
    fit in correctly.

I either don't have the knack to fit it or the brass coloured metal fitting
was bent when when the mirror was kicked off.

I think a trip to my local dealer becons tomorrow.

    D!
