The wash wipe pump on my 2000 Astra seems to have given up.

Haynes suggest removing both the front bumper and the wheel arch liner.
Is this necessary ... or could I just get away with the wheel arch
    liner?

    Any advice appreciated.

    Many thanks,

    James.

Arch liner only - just the bit near the bottle and then bend it out the way.
If your pump is running but no water you will find the filter in the bottle
is blocked. Take the pump out and then the rubber filter it fits into just
    pulls out.

Very good. It doesn't sound like it is running ... just dry wipers.

Will have a go this weekend.

    Thanks.

Perhaps I've missed it ... but aren't the pump and wipers all on one
    fuse?
