How much do Vauxhall charge to advise you of your radio code? Cheers Karl
as far as know they dont charge.. just rang up...confirmed a few details and they gave me it.. they have them stored according to vin /reg number i think...provided the radios have not been swapped of course
If I remember correctly I got charged a fiver, but all the details for the car, immobiliser/alarm and radio were on it so well worth the money. Better than paying £15 to get it re-coded.
yeah hope they have it thought... the vauxhall guy said that the new ones have to code burned in, they actually lost mine so had to replace the whole unit.. radio was dead !!!
The supplying dealer should have it recorded and should supply the details free-of-charge if you prove you own the car. If you do not know the original dealer or have changed the stereo there is likely to be a charge of £5 - £10 to get all of the codes from Vauxhall. -- Alan New & used Vauxhall cars & vans, servicing, repairs & parts www.steeles.co.uk Vauxhall CD players & handbooks http://www.stores.ebay.co.uk/vauxhallradiosales
