Could anyone tell me how to remove the radio from my Astra 1.6 2001
It has four grub screws, one at each corner but they don't seem to do
    anything.
Do I need a special tool?
The radio has an intermittent fault. The drivers door speaker stops working
but if I push the corner of the radio it starts working again for a while so
    I suspect a loose connection.
    Any help much appreciated
    Rick

    %some dood% scribbled:
On my vectra I had to remove the four screws and then insert 4 metal
rods into the holes to release the clips that hold it in. I assume it
will probably be the same on your astra.

    Regards,

    Lee.

This the actual tool you need:

But you can do it with some mini screwdrivers or similar.

If it is a 2001, is it still covered by warranty?

I would have thought that any Vauxhall dealer would assist with removal for
    free.
