P Reg Astra Oil Leak

Hi All..

My girlfriends Astra 1.6 P reg hatch has developed an oil leak..
Im not very car orientated, but I know the very basics..

Can someone please give me some advice on things to check so I
can find out where the problem might be and any information
regarding a fix..

Difficult to give an answer to this one. I personally would look first at
the likes of the rocker box gasket and oil filter, on the grounds of easiest
to do. perhaps you might like to give the engine a good pressure washing to
clean it up first. makes fresh oil easier to see.

Oh, and always carry a couple of litres of fresh, just in case...
