Overheating on Omega

  1. Does anyone have any ideas on the following fault or whether this is normal?

    I have a 2.016v Vauxhall Omega on a 98 S plate.

The car was recently over heating, so I had the Fan Switch replaced 5 weeks
    ago. Everything worked fine.

Now I have noticed that the Fan does not come on if the Climate is set to
    Eco.

The fan is on all the time with the aircon on and also switches on at about
102c with the climate off. But if you put on the climate and switch the
aircon off then the car just goes up to red!

I was told there was two switch settings, but they both seem to work, 1 for
the aircon and 1 for when the climate is switched off when the engine gets
hot, but shouldn't the second switch also cover the blower when the aircon
    is off?

I have recently had to replace the Crank Sensor, Door locking motor, and the
alternator as it was over charging along with a couple of bulbs, could all
    these be related?

    Thanks

    Kirt
