    Hi,
Got an Omega 2.5 V6 CDX and have changed the oil cooler and cover plate
in the engine. After filling the cooling system back up the climate control
doesn't get up to temperature. The best I can get is warm air out the vents.
The mechanic who fiitted the cooler refilled as per Haynes guidance.
The top hose of the air con heat exchanger gets hot but the bottom hose is
luke warm. The engine temp appears ok running at 92 deg. C.
I think it may be an air lock.If so any ideas on how to bleed the system.
    Cheers.

    Hi Clive,
I've reset the climate control using "auto" and "off" buttons
together. You can hear the heating servo's repositioning themselves.
Is this the way to reset or do you know of another method.
    regards,
    Barnes.

There is a vacuum fed water shut off valve - black plastic about 3" round
with 3 coolant pipes going to/from it. When you turn the heater onto cold it
stops the water flowing through the heater matrix giving you another 3
    degrees of cooling.
You will probably find it is either blocked up or the vac pipe has come off.
Lean over your engine from the front and look down at your left/rear at the
back of the block. You should just be able to see it. It is easier to get
to from underneath but you get wet when you pull the pipes off.

  5. I hope the person who worked on your car did not make the same mistake
as I did. You have three rubber pipes on the Calibra V6 all the same
size two go to the heater matrix, one pipe goes to the expansion tank,
if you put these back on the wrong way round you get no flow through
    the heater matrix.
