Omega Climate Control

Hi All,

I have a T reg with climate control that's developed an odd fault. When I'm
on a long run the ecc works fine in auto mode, until I stop the engine then
restart it. The ecc then loses it's ability to regulate the temperature, it
always blows cold air at full fan speed. Unless I change the temp to Hi, in
which case I get hot air. Very annoying as it becomes almost impossible to
demist the screen and stay comfortable! All returns to normal when the car
is left overnight though.

Anybody had the same problem or got any ideas?

sounds like one of the temperature sensors is giving up the ghost.
not sure where the are on the omega, perhaps someone else can answer that.

Sounds like the little fan that sits behind the centre air sample sensor has
stopped working. The sensor will be getting hot from the heat produced from
the radio.
