    People

I had some very bad luck with my Omega - after getting stranded at a garage
and after calling the AA out, I was unable to start the car because the
steering wheel had lock solid and would not and has not budged.

Is there any INEXPENSIVE way of removing the sterring wheel lock with out
    damaging the car?

    Many thanks

    Lokai,
This might work... Loads & loads of penetrating oil, remove
the steering column cowling, and TAP (with a hammer) the face of the
barrel, whilst turning the key. You need to turn the lock to position
    1. If you can do this you can remove the barrel without damage. If
not, drill it and hope for the best.
E-mail me if you can turn to position 1 and I'll tell you how to
get the barrel out. (will not post due to sensative nature)
    Hope this helps
