Mk4 Astra wiring help

    Am about to fit an aftermarket cruise control to my 2002 1.6 16v. Need help
    locating the following connections please.....

    1. The tacho signal feed wire (negative side of the ignition coil? but do I
    have a coil?)

    2. Vehicle speed sensor wire

    Does anyone know the number of pulses per mile from the speed sensor and if
    the pulses are square wave (manual for the cruise control suggests 0 volts
    to +5v as the vehicle moves) or sine wave.

    Any help appreciated
