Hi folks. I’m new here, but not new with spanners.

Looking for some advises. I’ve replaced dead meriva b (2011) 1.3 diesel engine, with corsa (2015) 1.3 engine.
I know , sound absolutely silly, but circumstances are as them are, and I had no choice.
There is good bit of differences between engines, I’ve made up oil pressure point(there is blank, so drill and fit sensor had no problems) also camshaft sensor place is blank, driled hole, skimmed top, to make sure sensor is in exactly same distance to sensor pin as on old engine. (Yes, new engine exhaust camshaft have pin for camshaft sensor)., fitted old crankshaft sensor, replaced injectors, fuel ramp sensor, egr and vacuum also from old engine.

so, engine is turning over, but not starting. A lot of unburned fuel out of exhaust.
diagnostics shows camshaft sensor fault , and sometimes ramp fuel pressure too high .

with easy start engine works fine, but can’t get it work on diesel.
Old dual mass was bad also, replaced wit corsa e single mass flywheel.

    1. Should i replace high pressure pump? Would it have to be off meriva ? As corsa high pressure pump looks absolutely same..??
    2. I’ve replaced camshaft sensor from scrapyard, there was no difference.
    3. Would corsa e single flywheel tooth count would be different , and that would be main reason why injectors have different timing.?? However fittings and gearbox went on without issues.
… what else to look for?

    thanks in advance

    Mo
