    hi,
I have bought a replacement mass air flow meter for my astra 1.7dti..I am a
bit of a DIY man! and this looks easy enough to do BUT do I need to
disconnect the battery? i don't think I do.How does the electric cable come
away from the unit.. Do I just pull it off? looks that way to me but thought
I would ask someone who knows before I risk doing any damage. Thanks for any
    advise.

Just out of interest, what symptoms are you having, with your believed to be
    faulty mass air flow meter?

    Thanks
