She's an S-reg with 230,000m on the clock, but is well-maintained (from 10 months old). This knock/rattle only occurs at stalling point or switch-off. I've been underneath and it's definitely coming from the gearbox. It happens with the clutch engaged or disengaged - in neutral or in gear. Could it still be a clutch component ? Or is it likely to be the box - or the spigot (if it has one) ? I'm at a total loss. TIA PP
