Knackered master cylinder ?

    My brakes are squishy and you can feel the pedal lowering as the engine
    revs die down, would this be a knackered master cylinder ?

    If so, any one got any idea roughly how much they cost nowadays for a
    Vectra V6 or whether it's worth fitting a second hand one (or should
    they only be replaced with new) ?
