Is there a simple way to reset engine management light????

on a veccy.

 

I was told once to disconnect the battery for a period of time, then
reconnect and the engine management will remap itself. I really haven't
tried this and don't know if it will work, but if you do, make sure you have
your radio code handy.

why?
if the fault has gone then the system should clear in 2-3 days.
it will not clear if the fault is still present, that's it's job.
