Can anyone help me determine what gearbox I need for my Combo van? An f13 or f17? Or maybe neither. Maybe something else?

My 2005 5 1.3 CDTI 5 speed Combo differential gave up the ghost. So I am trying to locate a replacement box but it appears not to be as easy as just looking for a 2005 1.3 5 speed CDTI box because there appear to be many different boxes, i.e. f13, f17 etc.

I bought a box from a reclamation yard but the mechanic fitting the box for me said it was the wrong one. I returned the box to the yard I bought it from and they honoured their word and gave me a full refund. But there was some travel and time required to do this and it kind of cheesed off the mechanic, which I fully appreciate.

To avoid buying the wrong box again (and cheesing off the mechanic again) I recovered the old box, cleaned it off and made a note of the various codes on it so as to be sure to buy the right one, but nowhere on the box does it say F13 or F17.

The codes on the box and drivers inner door are: 20221207_105633.jpg are:

    GM 90 400 206 24494 3/6

    GM 12992510 20759

On the drivers door sill are the following codes:

    Opel 055f214T
    W0L0XCF2563067893

What box is the correct one for my van?

    Any ideas?

Hey mate I am looking for bearings for the same box, the numbers you pictured are not what you need, see below.
So the last numbers reference the diff ratio and also 4/5 speed etc, you will have to clean it too see it!
