Intermittent limp mode.

    Hi all, I have a 2008 astra sports that intermittently engages limp mode leaving me with 3rd and 4th gear. I can turn the engine off and immediately restart the car and it runs perfectly again until next time being days or weeks. Code reading suggested solenoid A or B ( can’t Remember) electrical. Had the transmission fluids checked at mechanics who believed the transmission is fine and that I should check wiring. A phone call to another transmission mechanic also suggested that it won’t be a solenoid because he’d never seen one fail in an astra! Has anyone dealt with this problem and solved it or does anyone have an idea what the problem may be coming from. Thinking of swapping out a matching number T.C.M. ‍♂️
