Help about Sumps??

Discussion in 'General Motoring' started by merlin_1_scotland, Jan 27, 2004.

  1. Hi again, I recently purchased myself a corsa 1.5TD and have had little
bother with it thus far. However, after a recent inspection under the car,
i have noticed that the sump was covered in oil (on the outside i mean) and
upon further inspection i realised that the sump has started to erode and
has become pourous, allowing my precious oil to spill onto the ground.

Does anyone know of any stores online that would supply me with a sump for
    my isuzu lump??

    Cheers for any help.

    Much appreciated as always.
    Mick out.

Not an uncommon problem, nor an expensive part to buy from your local
    Vauxhall dealer.

A replacement sump pan for my old Issusu engined Cav was £90 fitted by
an independent dealer. On this one the drain plug thread stripped.
