    Hi,

    I have a 96 vectra 2.0DI with 104,000 miles on the clock and I've
noticed over the last month or so, my fuel economy is getting worse.
I'm not driving any different to normal. Is there anything I should be
looking at that could make my fuel consumption go up.

    Regards,

    Lee.

first port of call would be the air filter.
    then perhaps the diesel pump.
    followed by the injector chain.

could even be the fuel filter, but that normally makes it stutter, though if
it's very bad then anything can happen.

there are a few valves (like breathers etc) that might also provide some
    trouble leading to increased cons.

    Hi
Have you checked to see if any of the brakes are sticking?
Take care if jacking it up - jack and block it before attempting anything
    underneath.

Check tyre pressure, low pressure can increase fuel consumption.
