    Hi Jeremy

I am sorry if I offended you.

I was unaware that was not ethical to post links to newsgroups that might
    help someone.

I added the FS to the front of my post to indicate that it was something for
sale, maybe I should have added FA, as it is an Ebay auction

I am selling these as I do not need them for my vehicle.

Someone may find them very useful and get themselves a bargain.

They do fit many vehicles as M12X1.50 and 60° taper seat is very common

I am not a Trader, just a private seller

If you have any further issues, reply

    Thanks

Your post, FrankG would have been ok if restricted to just the newsgroup
    free.uk.adverts.cars.
However, you have crossposted to seven irrelevant newsgroups. Your post
is not informative or helpful, nor are you asking a question. Take a
look at how many items are for sale on ebay uk and just imagine what the
newsgroups would be like if each of these items also had eight newsgroup
    postings to go with them.

It's not just Usenet charters you need to worry about. You also agreed when
you signed up to eBay that you wouldn't spam Usenet, doing so is risking
your hard earned 99 feedback should people decide to report you.

It's not just Usenet charters you need to worry about. You also agreed
    when
I did not realise that was their policy. I had not come across that before

You see it all the time on newsgroups, people posting links to Ebay

    Thanks for pointing it out

Also Frank, apart from the fact you shouldn't really have done it, the
header ought to have read FA: not FS:

"> Also Frank, apart from the fact you shouldn't really have done it, the
I realised that just after I sent it. Doh !

I have seen quite a few Ebay auction links on the uk classic car newsgroup

They never seem to get flamed

Maybe they tolerate it more in that ng

Just less saddo netcops probably, although links to others ebay auctions
pointing out something interesting are not the same thing.
