Footwell Mat attachments

I have 2 round objects which have spikes that stick into the carpet on one
side and a lock on the other to hold the mat still. They seem to work very
well and I would like to purchase some more. Are they something I would have
to purchase from Vauxhall or are they a standard sort of thing I can
purchase in car accessory shops? Had a look round Halfords the other day but
I couldn't see any.

I've only ever seen these come with mats.

 

I had to buy mine separately, little bolt type things but with wings
instead of a thread, they fitted into a socket in the floor.

I got them from Vauxhall but even the parts guy spluttered at the
price, they do hold the rubber mats in place though and I think I've
had my moneys worth after six years. Sorry but I can't find the receipt
for them.

 

I'd say don't bother. I've got them in my Omega and they're always pulling
out. They are Vauxhall specific so you would only get them from a dealer.

They are a pain in the f*c*king arse. Forever breaking off the metal
teeth or the plastic lugs that lock them.

These are available from halfords but dont hav the locks they use lugs
you screw the screw side into the carpet and them place the mat over
the luggs.
