  1. Hi, I have recently purchased a Corsa (2 year old) and every time I get out
it the exhaust smells of egg. Is this normal?

    Regards

Boiled egg? Scrambled egg? Easter egg?
Maybe you've got a complimentary chicken in the exhaust... :)

It will be your cat, dont worry about it, but if it's really bad then it
should still be under warranty with Vauxhall, they should be able to
check it out as I know someone who had the same problem on a clio and
the dealer ended up changing the cat as the smell was getting into the car.

Trust me it's normal, I've never had this on my Astra SXI tho, it's when
your exhaust starts belting out blue smoke you should be worrying.

Ive only noticed what i refer to soot and eggs smell on cars that have been
driven hard. Do you drive your car hard young man???? It may be a simple
case of backing off the accelerator once in a while ;o)
