Can anyone that knows about DPF's (specifically on the 2011 SRI CDTI 4 wheel drive Insignia) please give me any info to help... I am about to delete my DPF (insides taken out) then stage 1 mapping. My question is Can I delete it myself? Savings £200 quid. Would it work if I push a bar into it to break the plates, then shake ballbarings in it to break the rest out? And more importantly... Will the car still drive once I put the empty and cleaned DPF back on? Without going into limp mode or anything? I will need to drive it to the tuning shop afterwards
