Display transplant can it be done?

    Does anyone know if the display unit from a Mk 3 Astra GSI will fit
    into a Mk 3 Astra CDX?

    Sure can buddy, if its the digi dash your talking about. Ive had a digi
    dash in an astra, a nova and now a corsa. all with no problems. mines was a
    mk4 astra mind but i doubt youll have many problems.

    Thanks for the info. Silly question but will all the functions work? I
    suspect not like the fuel consumption etc? which aren't in the current
    one.

    naw the only things that go are the things that went on your original dash,
    for exmple on th nova i had the speedo, rev counter, fuel guage, temp gauge,
    and odometer, indicators , main beam indicator, and fog light indicator that
    was about it,

    i suppose if you wanted to get fancy with it you could possibly make some of
    the other functions work, im not entirely sure how though.

    Confused now! I was referring to the display in the centre of the car
    not the dash itself!
