Cylinder head interchangability (or sell me your camshaft/head!)

    Hi, does anybody know if a cylinder heads on all 2.0 (& 1.8 even) 4
    cyl vauxhalls are interchangeable?

    I've got a 2.0 carlton (RWD) with a bad camshaft & getting hold of a
    decent used head might be the cheapest option. I'd need to take the
    head off to change the camshaft anyway I think. Old cavaliers seem to
    be easier to find than old Carltons but I'm concerned whether the
    heads will fit or not.

    Anybody got a decent used camshaft or head lying around?!

    Camshaft kits are quite cheap for 8V vauxhalls. I paid about £45.00 for new
    cam kit for my 2.0 Cav about 18 months ago.
