  1. Whilst on the subject of V6 Cavs i also own one and recently had some work
done on it at a Nationwide garage, now this is the first time anyone other
than Vauxhall Technicians Have looked at the little beast, and you guessed it
Problems, new front brakes and pads are still squeekin after 2 months,me
trackin is out,and i need a new offside front wheel bearing,What im tryin to
say it pays to go the real hog,Yes it is expensive £750 my dearest to date
but you have got comfort and pretty much confidence in the fact its been
done properly. And also if like me you have looked at HT leads,ALWAYS stay
    with Vauxhalls on any V6.

Dont think I'd let a Vauxhall Dealer anywhere near a car of mine. Last car I
took to the dealers was an Astra I had 6 years ago, sent it for a service,
they replaced the leads as part of the job, then the car ran like a bag of
****, turns out they put the leads on so the poor thing was firing in the
wrong order, tried to charge me for diagnostics to find the problem too!

With other garages you just have to find a good one and stick with them,
saves a fortune on dealer prices, unfortunately there's a lot of cowboys in
the industry who give some really good independent garages a bad name.
