Now I've been around a few years in the car game and thought I knew it all. Yet the 2.0 SRI (T-reg) vectra I'm working on has me stumped. I was replacing the metal pipe from the clutch pedal down to the gearbox. Along this metal pipe about two inches from the back of the clutch pedal is a small oval shape silver block. One side of the clutch metal pipe goes in one side then comes out of the other side. I have never seen this before so is this common to just the SRI model? More importantly what is it and what does it do?
