Attachments

    New to this newsgroup thingy so please excuse if a daft question...

    Are attachments allowed? I was under the impression they were frowned on
    except in specific binary groups. Would be useful to know as, at times, an
    attached diagram or photo could be useful.

    Binaries are only allowed in binary groups.
    Get yourself some webspace, upload it, post the link.
