Do anyone own an Astra SRi 2.2 and able to tell me the mpg? Thanks in advance Ferret
Hi I have a Vectra 2.2 CD - I assume the same engine. Not renowned for pussy-footing around - - on a hot engine from refill to home 6 miles or so at a shopping trip pace (not exceeding 50 mph) I return 44.5 mpg. - start from cold the next morning a little late for work (12 miles) and with a little "enthusiasm" and cuing in the local jams to get through a port town with the characteristic "one bridge option" sends it to about 25/26 mpg.. - long motorway journey after a "hot engine refuel" pulling motorway speeds - around 34/36 mpg. Quite obviously it is a larger body and I assume a heavier car, but yours, I would have thought was a "sportier" engine, so fuel consumption - about the same (?). I hope that helps a little.
