Astra GTi wheels.

  1. With luck come September/October I'll be back in the Vauxhall fold after
    10 years with Chrysler.

I had 4 Cavaliers in the 80s/90s and then 4 Neons, sadly the Neon is no
longer imported so I looked for a replacement and the Astra looked the
    best bet.

I must admit after many years of safe driving I've been seduced by the
dark side and have ordered a 1.8 SRi.

The one thing that worries me are the wheels, I know alloys aren't the
thief magnet they used to be as they are fitted to a lot more cars these
days but what are the Vauxhall locking nuts like, are they any good or
should I invest in a more secure product.

    Any help gratefully received.

    Mike

I don't know if they are any better or worse than others but I can tell
you that they are a pig to get off if the owner has lost the 'key'.

If you are concerned you could always buy a 2nd locking set and double
up. That would really stump someone trying to get them off.
