Astra-G, X20 DTL, EML on at 72 mph

    I have an Astra-G (MY98) with a strange fault! When travelling up a slight
    gradient at 72 mph, the engine management light illuminates with trouble
    code P1125 - critical system malfunction-1, set present. I have checked and
    substituted all vacuum related items including the air mass meter and
    pressure sensor. The vehicle otherwise performs normally with no other
    symtoms.

    Any thoughts on what could be causing the fault would be appreciated.
