Astra Estate Rear Wiper

The rear wiper arm has broken on my 03 Astra Estate.
Not sure if it will be changed under warranty as I'm
not sure how it broke. Anyone any idea if this is a common
fault, and how much are they to buy.

It definitely won't be warranty as probably vandalism.

They are not expensive and they are simple to fit - the dealer's Parts Dept
may even do it foc for you (we do).

Thanks Alan,

I phoned the parts dept of my local dealer, and got a double shock.
The wiper arm cost only £13 +vat. (gulp! I expecting mega bucks).
As the car is on 03 plate the chap in the parts dept, *without any
prompting from me*, said that they should really take look at it in
case it's a warranty issue.

Well for £13 I wasn't going bother, but they insisted. It later transpired
not to be a warranty issue.

What a refreshing change
